Grade 5 Class Hsin － Hsuan-Chu Chen
Due to the problem we found last time, we decided to adjust the way we work today. The teacher asked us to discuss before we collect data. Also, we needed to edit the sentences we wrote so that it would be more fluently. I was responsible for Mr. Chen’s background. There were several versions, so I planned to design some related questions for the interview. Hopefully, I could get more updated information from the interview with the respectful micro-carving master.

Grade 5 Class Hsin － Hsuan-En Hsu
Today the teacher showed us the video of Mr. Forng-Shean Chen. We have known him better.  In the film, Mr. Chen mentioned that his first piece he accomplished in micro-book collection was “Tan Dynasty 300 poems.” It is so amazing that he tried to challenge so many words in his first work. Our teacher said that we will visit the miniature master next Sunday. I was looking forward to this trip.

Grade 5 Class Yi － Yu-Yu Lin
We were supposed to hand in mind map today, but some of us forgot to bring it back. Therefore, we discuss interview questions instead. Ko-Hsin and I listed down the questions we would like to ask in the interview with Mr. Chen.

Grade 5 Class Ho － Chun-Yu Chang
We still needed more time organizing the mind map, so the teacher gave us more time to due by Friday. Then, the teacher showed us all the questions we have listed for the interview. This Sunday, we will visit Mr. Chen and we chose the main interviewers. On Thursday, we will practice our eye-contact, smile, facial expression and manners of oral presentation. Hopefully, we will accomplish the mission successfully.

Grade 6 Class Chung － Tzu-Ying Chen
We were all excited and nervous for the coming interview on Sunday. The teacher kept reminding us the correct way and good manners during the interview. Besides gesture, eye-contact, volume and wearing school uniform, the most important thing is to be polite. We rehearsed several times and were well-prepared and hope everything went smoothly that day.

Grade 6 Class Hsiao － Jui-Hung Chien
Today we had an interview drill today, and the teacher asked us to do role-play to simulate similar situation in the interview. I am a little bit nervous. I hope that I will not get my tongue twisted during the interview. It is always hard to take the first step to do one thing I have never done before. I will practice more before that day.

Grade 6 Class Jen － Pei-Chi Wang
“This is it!” I shouted with excitement this morning. We visited Chen Forng-Shean Miniature Art Museum and had interviewed the miniature master, Mr. Chen. There were various art collections including brick and miniature carvings. It was amazing. After the tour, there came the interview. Although we have rehearsed at least two times before departure, I was still nervous to ask questions. Thanks to Mr. Chen’s smile and he replied every questions nicely in detail, we completed our mission smoothly. Then, we experienced DIY brick carving activity. It was not as easy as we thought it would be. Mr. Chen demonstrated the procedures and he mentioned it took a month firing the bricks. I couldn’t wait to see the final product! It was an unforgettable trip!

Grade 6 Class Yi － Shao-Ting Lin
It was the first time meeting after our interview today. We started typing transcript and the reflection. Also, we needed to hand in the unfinished working log and mind map. Our progress was a bit left behind, and we really needed to hurry.

Grade 6 Class Yi － Chih-Yu Tsao
We continued arranging the data we collected from the interview. Besides transcript typing, each of us was assigned to complete two feedback and reflection of the interview and DIY activity. Due to Chun-Yu’s absence on Sunday, she was assigned to draw colors on the mind map.    I have finish writing the post-interview reflection, and I was still working on transcript typing and the feedback of Brick carving DIY activity. Writing reflection was challenging.

Grade 5 Class Ai － Ko-Hsin Huang
Today we kept working on our late dues. I had one more working logs, the other DIY reflections were already finished. Everyone was working hard and I felt motivated. I loved work with our team.

Grade 5 Class Hsin － Hsuan-Chu Chen
Today, our teacher told us about things that we needed to finish. For example: visiting reflection, interview data, and mind map. All the things above must be done by next Monday.  Besides, the teacher reminded us the meetings of this Thursday and Friday was cancelled. I still have a lot of things not be done. And I need to be hurry up in order to catch up with everyone's progress.

Grade 5 Class Hsin － Hsuan-En Hsu
The Teacher asked us to finish the mind map today. After coloring with color pencil, the teacher asked us to outline with black marker to be clearer for readers. Also, it would be a good idea to add more pictures of Mr. Chen’s artworks nearby the mind map. I drew the micro-book “Tan Dynasty 300 poems” and the brick carving of Taipei 101 building. I even drew a magnifying glass! I think my mind map looks beautiful.

Grade 6 Class Chung － Tzu-Ying Chen
We settled the date and activities for the exhibitions at the end of the semester. We applied PrintMagic and printed the 16-segment posters. Others finished their own mind map, reflection and working log.

Grade 5 Class Ho － Chun-Yu Chang
We are going to conduct an exhibition at the end of the semester to show the students at our school all the work that has been achieved. It will be held in the multi-function classroom on the sixth floor. Today, we applied PrintMagic to design the posters. Hsuan-En and I were assigned to the same group and the topic was Chen Forng-Shean Miniature Art Museum. The teacher reminded us some techniques in making posters. For example, we should not post Word file directly on PrintMagic because the words would be scrambled. Before the class dismissed, we have finished the words editing, next time we just select suitable pictures to complete our mission. It was a fun meeting today and I couldn’t wait for next activity!

Grade 6 Class Chung － Tzu-Ying Chen
Recently, we have started making poster and lecture notes for the exhibition at the end of the year. Hsuan-Chu and I were in charge of the biography of Mr. Chen. We designed every details for the poster by using PrintMagic. The teacher reminded us to choose suitable front, size, colors and pictures. Though the procedures were complicated, we complete the poster in time. Now we need to assemble the tour guiding script.

Grade 6 Class Hsiao － Jui-Hung Chien
Today, the teacher asked us to use the software "PrintMagic7" to complete the poster, use word to complete the script. I have completed most of the poster, so just modify it. Pei Chi and I were responsible for Brick carving, so we were looking for information about it. We hoped we could finish everything in time and hand in the assignment. I hope that everything goes well!

Today, we had to continue to complete posters and scripts, and finish the poster collage by Thursday. I have completed most of my assignment, but there was still some parts needed to be edited. Therefore, I deleted unnecessary words and complete the art design.

Grade 6 Class Yi － Shao-Ting Lin
We were about to be ready for the exhibition in our school. Teachers helped us to print the poster into 16 pieces. And we needed to cut the posters and rehearse the presentation. We also need to be careful with our speaking pace. Wish all the best!

Due to the coming final exam next week and our exhibition will be on the following two days after the exam, we have limited time to finish the presentation. The teacher asked us to edit the guided tour draft and rehearsed several times. We were also asked to slow down our speaking pace and limited the words down to 300 words. We should not only complete the Cyberfair assignment in time but also keep up the school requirements. Wish we will have success after the exhibition.

Grade 6 Class Yi － Shao-Ting Lin
Today we checked the notes for the guided tour. Then we discussed about the transcript of interviews. We have spent most of our time rehearsing for the coming exhibition. We went up the stage one by one and keep on working on our working logs and reflections. Hope everything goes smoothly.

Grade 5 Class Hsin － Hsuan-Chu Chen
Today we went to the sixth floor to decorate the exhibition venue and practice the procedures.  Everybody carried the signboard upstairs, and moved several tables & chairs and place them well in the exhibition venue for schoolmates.  After that, when we returned to the computer classroom, the teacher reminded us of finishing the working log, visiting reflection as soon as possible. I was really looking forward to the next week's exhibition.

Grade 5 Class Hsin － Hsuan-En Hsu
These two days, we have held an exhibition in school's multifunctional classroom. The theme of this exhibition is “The Universe in a Grain of Sand－The Miniature & Brick Carving of Chen Forng-Shean.” There were several different sections, such as: Guided Tour Zone, Video Zone, Mr. Chen’s Artwork Area, Students’ Work Area, and Special Features. Our members of Cyberfair had to speak and explain the exhibition to all the other students. In the beginning, I was very nervous, but after a while, I became much more experienced. We asked questions about this exhibition and those who could answer it correctly could get cookies for rewards. I hope every other student will understand much better about Chen Forng-Shean and his artworks after this exhibition.

Grade 5 Class Ho － Chun-Yu Chang

Today was the last day of exhabition in school's multifunctional classroom. The theme of this exhibition is “The Universe in a Grain of Sand－The Miniature & Brick Carving of Chen Forng-Shean.” There were several different sections, such as: Guided Tour Zone, Video Zone, Mr. Chen’s Artwork Area, Students’ Work Area, and Special Features. We showed the documented film of endangered traditional craft. We were the tour guides to each section and we introduced the other students the artwork of Chen Forng-Shean. Back to the computer room, we were asked to type the reflection and hand in next week.

Grade 6 Class Chung － Tzu-Ying Chen
We have to finish all the reviews including guided tour reflection, overall reviews and working logs and turn them in before this Wednesday. We have to work harder to get all the work done in order to meet the deadline. We will design the webpage in winter vacation.

Grade 6 Class Hsiao － Jui-Hung Chien
It is time to design the webpage. However, some of the members could not came to school during winter vacation. The first thing we need to do is to select photos which are required to be sort out by the categories we used for the framework. After several discussions with teachers, we decided to use PhotoImpact X3 to change the size of the photos into 330*220 and add white board on each photo. We got a lot to do these two days. Go everyone!

We use Dreamweaver to design the webpage. We are not that familiar with this software. However, fortunately we got a lot of assistantance from our teachers. Our teachers always helped us solve problems whenever we had. As we use Dreamweaver more, we get used to it. Hopefully, working as team is the most efficient way to get the work done.
