Our teammates and I have brainstormed several topic names, such as “Xu Zhecheng,” “Xu a wish bar!” “Covered the eyes of the piano wizard” and so on. Others brainstormed a lot of names such as “The soldiers,” “Peek pinhole inside see the real chapter,” and “the world under magnifying glasses.” Our teacher said the vote will be on November 10. Today the teacher showed us the video of Mr. Forng-Shean Chen. We have known him better. In the film, Mr. Chen mentioned that his first piece he accomplished in micro-book collection was “Tan Dynasty 300 poems.” It is so amazing that he tried to challenge so many words in his first work. “This is it!” I shouted with excitement this morning. We visited Chen Forng-Shean Miniature Art Museum and had interviewed the miniature master, Mr. Chen. There were various art collections including brick and miniature carvings. It was amazing. After the tour, there came the interview. Although we have rehearsed at least two times before departure, I was still nervous to ask questions. Thanks to Mr. Chen’s smile and he replied every questions nicely in detail, we completed our mission smoothly. Then, we experienced DIY brick carving activity. It was not as easy as we thought it would be. Mr. Chen demonstrated the procedures and he mentioned it took a month firing the bricks. I couldn’t wait to see the final product! It was an unforgettable trip! |

Also, it would be a good idea to add more pictures of Mr. Chen’s artworks nearby the mind map. I drew the micro-book “Tan Dynasty 300 poems” and the brick carving of Taipei 101 building. I even drew a magnifying glass! I think my mind map looks beautiful.

We are going to conduct an exhibition at the end of the semester to show the students at our school all the work that has been achieved. It will be held in the multi-function classroom on the sixth floor. Today, we applied PrintMagic to design the posters. Hsuan-En and I were assigned to the same group and the topic was Chen Forng-Shean Miniature Art Museum. The teacher reminded us some techniques in making posters. For example, we should not post Word file directly on PrintMagic because the words would be scrambled. Before the class dismissed, we have finished the words editing, next time we just select suitable pictures to complete our mission. It was a fun meeting today and I couldn’t wait for next activity! |

Our members of Cyberfair had to speak and explain the exhibition to all the other students. In the beginning, I was very nervous, but after a while, I became much more experienced. We asked questions about this exhibition and those who could answer it correctly could get cookies for rewards. I hope every other student will understand much better about Chen Forng-Shean and his artworks after this exhibition. |

It is time to design the webpage. However, some of the members could not came to school during winter vacation. The first thing we need to do is to select photos which are required to be sort out by the categories we used for the framework. After several discussions with teachers, we decided to use PhotoImpact X3 to change the size of the photos into 330*220 and add white board on each photo. We got a lot to do these two days. We use Dreamweaver to design the webpage. We are not that familiar with this software. However, fortunately we got a lot of assistantance from our teachers. Our teachers always helped us solve problems whenever we had. As we use Dreamweaver more, we get used to it. Hopefully, working as team is the most efficient way to get the work done.
