Infinite as it is, miniature carving reflects the wisdom of life. Every piece of work is a wonder, said Mr. Chen.
Through years of study and international exhibitions, Mr. Chen’s artwork became world-renowned and widely reported by AFP, Reuters, and AP.

Reuters UK interviewed Mr. Chen and reported one of the micro-books－The Little Prince in Chinese-Japanese version and they were amazed by its petite size in only 0.1 cm. Then, a famous Russian collector saw this news and offered high price buying this piece of artwork. There was a Russian exhibition few years ago, and this collector showed a micro-book in 0.08 cm and was willing to meet Mr. Chen through the media. Mr. Chen showed a micro-book in only 0.05 cm in the meeting. The collector was so surprised and couldn’t believe it. Mr. Chen explained that it took him three days to make this Russian version of micro-book before this collector arrived as welcoming cultural exchange. Due to this event, Mr. Chen was invited to Russia and became friends with this collector.

When Russia held the first international calligraphy exhibition, I was the only artist from Taiwan. They were shocked by my calligraphy and the miniature carvings. I brought a fly which was written “Russia, I love you” in Russian. It was a blockbuster in the exhibition, and it was reported in front page of local newspaper and radio.
